It was said in supporter topic that none are being accepted. Remove the supporters all around. If you think about it we are all supporters, we all play this everyday, we dedicate time helping the game making topics about strategies or making other people become better. Even if not just that all the people who bought premium should have a supporter role. Paying 25$ for premium you just supported the Atwar cause, congratulations you just help keep this game server up and running. Supporters are supposed to bring in new people and basically show this game off. I have not seen a supporter actually doing the job entitled to.

I think that the supporter system should entirely be shutdown unless it's run properly by someone giving there full attention to bringing in new unique traffic to the website. The supporters only care about the dot by there name now, not actually bringing in new traffic.

-2 people are excused from this cause they actual try.

Also, if you are a supporter you should not be disrespectful. I have seen this so many times and a mod even had to say, "Wow what a supportive job you are doing being disrespectful to other players." They feel like the dot gives them power. Take out the dot and let these true people willing to help the site be silent vigilantes. No need to have a flashy icon.

From Anonymous supporter: "I feel like I have so much power with this dot."
-Was said to me the day they got it and the attitude changed in a flash.

Interview with Supporter: ●ANONYMOUS SUPPORTER
[pr] Mr_Own_U: ●ANONYMOUS SUPPORTER: Mind if I interview you?
[pr] ●ANONYMOUS SUPPORTER: yea what with it
[pr] Mr_Own_U: ●ANONYMOUS SUPPORTER: How have you supported the site so far?
[pr] ●ANONYMOUS SUPPORTER: well...... i was telling everyone about it
[pr] Mr_Own_U: ●ANONYMOUS SUPPORTER: When, where and how did you go upon advertising this?
[pr] ●ANONYMOUS SUPPORTER: well im not advertising it like online cause i dont really know how to do it i was just telling some ppl about it
[pr] ●ANONYMOUS SUPPORTER: anyway thats not why i am supporter i was doing that before also im supporter cuz dot looks cool
[pr] ●ANONYMOUS SUPPORTER: and why r u interviewing me at all dont u have a life?
[pr] Mr_Own_U: ●ANONYMOUS SUPPORTER: My point exactly
[pr] ●ANONYMOUS SUPPORTER: that u dont have a life?
[pr] Mr_Own_U: ●ANONYMOUS SUPPORTER: This will be posted about supporters and deleting the support system overall.
[pr] ●ANONYMOUS SUPPORTER: but can we keep dots?
[pr] Mr_Own_U: ●ANONYMOUS SUPPORTER: Thanks for the opportunity to interview you.

So we learned here from 1 supporter that they didn't support the site. They only like the dot. Also as you can see some disrespect in there.

I wanted to be a supporter once but not now. There's a few ways to send this site out that I know of. But it's too complicated with the program.

Real supporter wont stop advertising atwar even if their dots were taken away. We help promote the game only because we love it. No economic incentives are involved.

>you just help keep this game server up and running.
I'm sorry, what?

EDIT: No point in trying to remove the supporter system if the admins can't even fix their own servers.

Just be glad for every single turn of 3v3 you are capable of playing.
Do you really thing that this business-model is giving the developers some rent? Just make the calculations and you'll see that for now the developers just reached some break-even point... what will follow may decide whether it will work or not. Whether AW is sustainable (as a business) or not. Ojalá it is; would miss it!

Didn't literally mean we are paying the rent. I guess really what I mean is that we all supported atwar. But yes now I see I shouldn't have said "premium buyers keep server up and what not." My bad.

My +1 on either Supporter training, performance measurement with outcomes, or outright ending.
Anecdotal, but I had a supporter and total stranger ask me "Are you a n****er?" (screen shots available)

Such casual disregard for the Game Rules and common sense by those purportedly marketing the game would suggest the game is being well-marketed towards a demographic which may not be desirable for positive, long-term growth, or it is being poorly marketed in general.

I hope this was an uncharacteristic experience, I suspect it was not atypical.
