Please leave irish brotherhood, you are not worthy of that clan. I've never read such muck in all my life. And ofc hdrakon would be the one to upvote it.

Seeing as how sexual orientation has absolutely no bearing on a person's ability to do anything other than have sex there's no problem with a equal rights for everyone, regardless of their sexual orientation. That being said it's harmful to a country's esteem to have funding and time devoted to a movement which hardly needs the attention it's getting. You're gay? Good for you. No one cares. But society generally (say it with me: generally) accepts you. Something like a person's unique sexuality doesn't concern me so don't drag me or my tax money in to it. Equality is fine but don't overcompensate with special allowances to targeted groups and individuals. However, without the initial efforts of homosexuals pleading for their rights back when it was an issue for my country these various groups would not having the standing and equal rights present today. So I'd rather have that past and our present rather than groups that feel subjugated in society today. +1 progressive

I think homosexuality is wrong, I believe that the only true marriage is between a man and woman. Why? Because that is what is laid out by The Bible. Also, don't forget the natural consequences for engaging in homosexual acts.... AIDES. As for other sexual "orientations" (bi, trans ect), I believe their are just as many consequences for those to. As for transexuals who have underwent surgery, there is an increasingly larger suicide rate. So ultimately, because of the fact the LGBT movement ultimately hurts people; I am against it.

Then you are most certainly not referring to me. Because this topic is asking for our opinions on the matter. Also, as of now, I haven't forced my opinions on anyone, I have merely stated them. But even then, if I believe that the LGBT movement is wrong, and I believe it hurts people; then me forcing my "beliefs" on other people should show that I love and care about those people, and I don't want to see them destroy their body. If I see someone walking into the street who "doesn't believe" cars can hurt them, reality says otherwise. Then if in that situation I yell, and even scream at them saying that they are being foolish, and are going to be hit by a car, wouldn't that still be love? Even then, for me to tell others that I believe that LGBT acts are wrong, I believe there are real and present consequences for doing those acts (just like a robbing a store, or jumping off a cliff), it should show that I care about those people enough to tell them that. When I say that the LGBT movement is wrong, it is not with a condescending attitude, but in a loving, friendly, kind manner.

Bro, same as we may use protection, they can use protection as well. No one gets hurt in any way... you're overreacting a bit, I'm not even sure how much you actually know about them They simply want equality, same as women asked in their times. Simply cause you like girls does that mean that they get their equility and homosexuals don't? Btw, don't you think that if they actually were hurting themselves, wouldn't they be the first ones to be worried about that? It doesn't feel like loving them but trying to change their minds about something they honestly like and enjoy. It's their taste; not something they chose but something they simply like and feel attracted to. Then how can you say that their movement is wrong in a "loving, friendly, kind manner"? You're basically insulting their life, rights and principles...

And how does he understand that it's wrong? It's simply cause that guy is most probably being bullied. Let him take a breath, let him decide what's wrong or right for him. No one tells you what you're doing right or wrong. What you do is no good for a human, it's call oppresion. PS: I have like 10 gay friends... I think I win if this was meant to be a competition.

I support LGBTI demands for equal rights. Not different rights, like some of you are suggesting, but equal rights like they are demanding. Radical humanism is an absolute necessity; IMO.

I dislike and do not support the LGBT movement because it's all a circus by now. I do agree that the government and the society punishing them for their attraction values is wrong but today they're just waving a huge sign saying "Look at me, I like to do *Various inappropriate sexual stuff* and you need to listen, if you disagree with anything of this you are a homophobe and is a bad person!". All in all, I have no problems with homosexuals that way. Know both a guy and a girl who are homosexual, and we've got no problem because they don't wave it all in my face. Your sexual stance is YOUR personal issue, and doing or saying certain things in public is detrimental regardless of sexuality. To sum it up, I don't care about people being homosexual. I dislike the Pride Parades and people who think they're special because of it. In my opinion, if they stop waving that sign in everyones face homophobia would be about as prominent as the KKK. So, it's definently detrimental. Whether they're homosexual or not, that doesn't set them apart, we're still part of the same society and we are still the same humans. You don't need to parade around and be so goddamn proud about it. You're not special, just different, not in a bad way but people are bound to be upset if you keep trying to force it on them.

This..is easily the best post in this thread. Huehuehuehue, well done. Google chrome congratulations for managing to compete with all the other brainless religious freak bigots around here. Your posts would be funny, if they werent such a sad and tragic representation, of such a large percentage of our supposed modern and educated population. Loved especially how you devastated your friends self esteem and made him hate himself, but its all ok because you did it with love and compassion (bahaha) and with sound, solid, not 1850's at all, un-debuncable arguments, like bible and..AIDS! well done.
