Buff LB

You know its long overdue since the nerf

And what do you suggest? I think reworking the crit mechanic is the way to go.

Yes it needs small buff so its good in east, but not to the point where west players cry.

knowing the strat team, it would take at least 2 years for Lilouch, froyer, mekoi, and eagle to agree to buff it, then another year to actually come up with a buff and implement. Add an extra year since kaska is in their discord.

Then a bitter war will ensue where everyone cries about it being to op, then froyer will say " i rape lb ukr ez, git gud noob", then lilouch will say " lb was always good, we shouldnt have buffed it, its too op!" and then people will say "whats the point of play IF when lb is better in everything" then the strat would get nerfed again, but even worse than its current version, thus making it a useless strat even more.

Repeat same process for iron fist

The one thing I'd maybe trial is removing the +10 cost increase just on the Infantry so it takes back down to 60 cost with full upgrades, is this a good idea...? Probably not...but would it make more people play the strat again and shift up the meta... I believe so?. I guess it all just depends on how hard you want the meta to change, the militia move change on Ironfist is probably the new meta for west that you are looking for I'd say though.

Lelouch plays LB once out of 100 games and get some dumb rolls and than claims it's good and viable for use. Than proceeds to go back to turtling with PD and rewalling

exactly, like omg so what you beat r9 1200 elo, its still not good on a consistent basis

Although me personally I think LB is good the way it is right now. If something were to be changed though I think it would be making infantry 70 cost instead of 80(without upgrades obviously). And then making them have None crit stats which is 5(without upgrades). But maybe we could work with giving it more crit. But I think tanks will be enough to make up for the lack of crit coming from infantry. I think you guys underestimate the power LB has in games outside of Eu+. Try it out in world games or Eurasia and I promise it's still very strong.

You must have not played the game when LB had 70 cost infantry. It was deemed too broken for 3v3 gameplay. Hence why the cost was increased to 80. So we already know for certain that 70 cost infantry is too strong. A good alternative would be making them 70 cost but removing the crits. This way the strategy can still be played in 3v3.

You must have not played the game when LB had 70 cost infantry. It was deemed too broken for 3v3 gameplay. Hence why the cost was increased to 80. So we already know for certain that 70 cost infantry is too strong. A good alternative would be making them 70 cost but removing the crits. This way the strategy can still be played in 3v3.

I don't support the idea of removing crits altogether, as i do not believe it's actually broken. Although in worse case scenario, Reduce the crit.

None crits for infs and 60 cost (with upgrades) , thats bad. Because in every game as lb, your main units are infantries because you are poor af and can't afford anything else.
Lb should keep his high cost units but his crits should be increased maybe +12/13 crits instead of +10 would be better, if you want lb to be S strat in eu+ early/midgame/lategame make it +15 crits.
We could also do -3 crits for all units so + 7 crits and have 60 cost infs (with upgrades) , then its playable early and midgame, and in west it can beat pd.

agreed it's good, its the 3rd best strat of atwar, but its not the best anywhere except maybe eurasia but it's close to gw.

For west meta we already have ideas, but I don't think anything will beat pd in west except if we add broken strats, and I dont think anyone want pd nerfed at least for now, because we will have to make a complete new meta and it would take too much time.
