Should Scotland be independent?

Hello everyone, I am a Scotsman living in Norway, and thinking about the referendum that occurred just some months ago where Scotland decided it was better off sticking with the UK I wanted to know what you guys think.

Although I was neutral on the issue and I felt like even though I'm a Scottish Highlander it's not my place to argue, as Scottish politics should be left to those living in Scotland, I still wanted to hear what the AtWar community would think about the issue.

This is not really a mainstream issue so I don't expect a lot of attention or responses to this poll, but for those of you that give your input I greatly appreciate it!.

Why does it even matter. You do realize being Scottish is simply an accident and you're no more special than any other spanish, hungarian or British who each believes is more "Special" because he was randomly born in their respective countries (indoctrination)

The things that people are concerned with, just wow.

Cant take on a real issue, cause we;ll offend ppl, let's talk about meaningless country independence and football teams

It's not about whether you buy into it or not. It is what pride should be based upon, and whether you "buy into it" or not makes no differece whatsoever. You can keep deluding and mentally masturbating yourself all you want. I have no stake in it, it's your life, waste it how you want, just don't cry at the end saying no1 showed you a different way.
