If all the permissions are enabled... ...why this? The ability to replace the map background is something a lot more important than changing the map logo. If all the permissions are enabled, why can't I change simple things, such as the logo, the name or the description e.t.c., when at the same time I can change something so fundamental it is the map background?

I tried to change the map name and logo once and didn't work. 2 Days later it decided to show up so it could be the server is just slow.. Another problem I have had in my map editing is trying to replace the flag for a country. It will work when its a new country but when replacing and saved, it reverts to previous flag. Would anyone know why the game won't allow me to change my country flags while editing my map?

I had the same issue and here's( hopefully) a way to fix it: Use Firefox or Opera, in which you don't have to clear the cache to be able to see the flag. In other browsers you have to manually clear it, but even that may sometimes not work.

I downloaded Firefox and saw that the flags did finally update from the time I changed them while using Chrome.. I then tried changing other ones while still in firefox but had the same problem. I later reverted back to chrome and the flags where back to their old undesirable selfs.. Not sure whats going on here. Also I havn't found a way how to manually clear the flag unless you delete the country and remake..

This is not a bug, you in theory can edit everything inside the map. The options tab is independent from the map itself.

It is a bug and if you think otherwise, feel free to reread the post as many times as you need until you "get" that it's the opposite of what you think it is. The options disabled for a collaborator make absolutely no sense on the background of the non-disabled options. It is absolutely absurd to claim that the options tab is separate from the map itself. You need the map background to draw the borders. You need the population multiplier to adjust the number of reinforcements. Let's not forget where the map name comes from. And so much more.

I messaged Amok and he told me to clear the browser cache.. It worked like you said. I tested it however and the changes only after manually clearing the cache even in Firefox.. atleast I have something that works now
