-_-
I'm not "making" flame wars, I'm interested in what people have to say about certain issues.
And this issue is important, I don't see this as part of the gameplay and we have a new admin in charge, so this topic should be noticed.
Mods and admins enabling cheating is not a good image.
Everyone: "Get this game on steam"
Admins: "we need to fix the game first" Yet allowing glitches to pass through.
Do you have any proof that 99.99% of the community accept it? Or is it just the players that CW and are high levels?
And people said it in posts above.
You dont have to see this as part of the gameplay. If you dont want to use it, just dont. And you can call it glitch as much as you want, it still doesnt change the fact thats part of the gameplay and that its not considered a glitch.
My proof is that this is first time i see complaining thread or thoughts about land 'shortcuts' in my 5 years of playing atwar, simple as that..
Anyways, i'm done arguing with you. You're clearly stubborn/troll/or you're getting kick out of this. I said what i have to say, if you're so confident that this should be changed, take it to the admin and present both sides, and see what answer is he going to give.
I'll just make a patched version if/when the map maker is fixed. But taking that a consumer has to fix a problem that the devs won't do is not good.
Your the only one who sees a problem here lol. Since 2012 when I started no one has ever complained about this let alone question it in the first place.
If I'm playing Germany and I want to attack Ireland with troops on a transport ship, I'm going to go around UK not through it. There is no strategy in exploiting the map. Even if all the players are doing the same, then what's the point in calling "competitive" and "strategic" if you just cut through a country when you're meant to be playing that country competitively...? Just play on a plain map if that's the case.

But that's not what's happening lol. Your trying to argue some point about realism, if that's the case then why can tanks cross continents without stopping for fuel, or why can 1 infantry defend against a tank? Why isnt Crimea apart of russia? It's a game get ahold of yourself, short cuts add depth to a stagnating game and have always been apart of the game. Your crying like a baby and no one cares lol.

If this case is all about competitiveness and strategy, why use an exploit to win a Battle, the game or a country?
I'm not arguing about realism. I'm saying if you're playing a game that has massive emphasis on geography and strategy, why use a glitch to get to your destination? And claim it's strategy? Just play an empty map with nothing in the way.
Like how can you not see the contradiction here? People hate wf, farming and alts...but allow a piece to move through a "no go zone"?
