I was wondering why there is no "real" map, except for scenarios or RP? What I mean by that is normal units, nothing fancy, but with all countries and states. For example, a map with New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado in USA instead of USA Mountain or with Manchuria instead of just Northeast China.

There is this map called 'Europe atWar' I used to play it alot, but nobody had time to spent it on a big map like that. It is basically an normal europe map but its bigger, with provinces etc. It is a fun map if you have some spare time left. It has the standard units. You should try it once!

It's sad that people just don't see how much more enjoyable longer and more complex sessions can be. It's all 50k 2-3 minute turn rush.

There is "Atlas" made by Messter, it is a very "real" map. Here is the link to the map: atwar-game.com/map/?id=1456 Side NOTE: I wish that admins would release a map without countries broken up (like olden days - as I have heard). Ofcourse this would not be competitive, but something cool for people to enjoy.

Wouldn't they be too OP though? It would just be about who gets Russia, China or the USA first, with EU countries being equal to Malta in comparison

I think a map like that would need to be balanced with cities.

There actually is one like that, it's a terrible map but the way its balanced is that countries like USA and Russia are too expensive to start as even in a 50k

The Atlas map is nice, almost what I was looking for. It has way too many cities, though.
