This is a very simple suggestion. It should be possible to disable building and moving of units on turn 1 in casual games. Currently, the game creator (and any players that join during game creation) have the ability to build units on turn 1. Players that join during the 1st turn (the majority of players), do not. This is a big disadvantage for turn 1 expansion. An option to disable building units on turn 1 would fix this problem. The current work-around is for the game creator to leave without building any units... As a side-note, disabling instant join does not work for casual games. You have to pick a country and wait, in-game, till the turn ends. That's just not practical. It should be possible to pick and leave.

Already been discussed, solution was to make casual games able to be on hold and stay on hold even when you go to lobby.

Yes, I saw that. This seems more simple to implement.

29.09.2013 - 15:57 It's not unfair. Building units would be disabled for ALL players on turn 1. And I'm pretty sure this would be easier to do than creating a "casual hold".

No it favors strats which are inf based and ones that are not get a bad start. And the reinforcements get all fked up which makes for a bad game.
