Become DJ on AtWar Radio

The radio is too much offline so we are asking for some new DJ's. If you want to be one of the DJ's send me a PM awnsering the following questions:

- What the music genre you want to play?
- What is your timezone (or region you live)?
- Can you play at least a few hours a week?

I will send a message back and, if you are accepted, i will send you the information to get you started

Well, i would maybe become an DJ, but i wonder if it's possible to DJ and play at the same time and if you just have to click soundtracks or whatsoever

There is a 'Auto-DJ' function; so you just drop in MP3 and then it plays. That is ok, when nobody is on the radio anyway. But its not fun to keep the radio in use when there are other DJ's waiting to make it a 'real' show. Its more fun to make some samples, play requested songs even you can even talk if you like.

Nothing. Well, some music on your PC would be nice.
If you can play a few hours a week then just send me a PM with your timezone and music genre. Then i'll give you access to the radio forum and to the starting guide that helps you trough.

Id like to be a DJ, I am in BST time zone ( UK) and would like to play mainstream songs, like top 50 and whatnot

Could I play some African music? I like sticks and stone music.

I sent in my application, the only question i have is do i have to have the songs? Most of the songs i would play are available via soundcloud but aren't on places like iTunes. Also it would be cool if real DJ functions were added like speaking into my mic to do DJ stuff.

You can use serval music formats, i'm not sure which (i use .mp3 or .wav myself). Also you are able to use the mic already; although it is hardly used by the current DJ's.

You can't stream it off a site, you need the songs downloaded as an mp3 file or a wav file (plenty more i'm sure).

Nowhere near enough country music or African music such as the songs of 2pac and Snoop Dogg. So I've applied.

I have some technical question, to know if it's needed to be on the computer while doing it or if it's possible to program an auto-DJ. If not, i could potentially make some one-track playlist.

In the case of possible automated playlist, i could make any hour without beeing on my computer. It's always connected so...

I want to became a DJ juss like hugo!! ill play all kind of songs and my region is south asia.

I would like to be a atwar DJ im usually online and i just love house music

Genres I would play : alternative, rap, funk, classical, rock and slight metal, industrial (lots of industrial). The time zone in which I reside in is -5. I can keep the radio on for three to four hours a day on weekdays, one to three days a week. I want to become a DJ though because the radio makes me sad and I want to bring my style of music to the people.

Once you join the Radio team you will be given a guide on how to install the software we use to work the radio. The beauty of the program we use is that you can not only host a live show but also there is a feature which allows you to Auto-Dj while you are busy. So there is no need of the talk of programming an Auto-DJ when it can be done already.

I hope this answers your question, most of your "technical questions" should be answered once you join DJ team anyway.
