Mod of radio power misuse

On 03 may 2014 , for over 2 hours Kona had been playing a Japanese songs nobody understands. Nobody else understood the songs. Repeated requests to play other songs were clearly disregarded. This is an example of mod power misuse and has to stop.

First of, Kona isn't a mod... How is it mod power misuse? Lol

Maybe have different radios. One could be rap, other jap, rock, jazz, classical etc have the current one too, for some people who enjoy all kinds of music.

Classical radio would be awesome. Although, I already listen to classical while I'm playing. I suggest that anyone that doesn't like what is playing on atwar radio should turn it off and use Pandora.

Oh yay, another retard complaining about abuse.

I'm not sure if you noticed how the radio works in real life, so i'll go ahead and explain it anyways. Every station plays ONE genre of music and usually sticks to the genre. You go to a country music station and request a song from Miley Cyrus, you really think they'll accept your request? No. The host of that station gets to choose what genre of music gets played and what doesn't.

Hugo, the most popular DJ for the radio, has often denied my requests for post-hardcore/hardcore music because he wants to keep a softer tone of rock for his rock station. I respect that and often go elsewhere if I want to listen to that type of music.

Also, there's nothing wrong with playing Japanese music. I've watched enough anime to know that Japanese songs aren't half bad.

Kona takes his personal time to play for AW radio, he imo is entitled to play what he wishes to.

Multiple radio "stations" according to genre? Would be great... but, we hardly get 1 station functioning! There are few DJs that are active and each one has his own "style". For the moment, choose the DJs you enjoy and turn the radio off if you dislike the genre. Personally I do not like "Japanese music" (whatever this may mean), but there are enough players that do enjoy. Go Kona!

Can you guys please play rap every once in a while? I know most of you guys are skinny, teenage white boys who hate black people, but there's something called Eminem.

IMO Eminem sucks. Way too fricking fast. Chammillionaire though, not bad. Too much whores in his videos, though.

The point here isn't the japanese music but playing music nobody else wants to listen to. The radio for game like this has to be democratic.
You are playing music that a very small percentage of people (in this case I don't know who else was listening to it) wants to listen to. I am an Indian so I would like to listen to Indian music here. But a very few people here understands the language so I wouldn't be fair on everyone to play a music just for a few people. That is my whole point. I don't give a crap if Dj doesn't play my favourite rock songs.

First of all, I only play Classical or Japanese music, so deal with it. I haven't seen Hugosch playing classical (or at least he doesn't usualy play, since he's a Rock DJ. >Simmilary how I used to sometimes play Rock back in the days).
Secondly, I've had 3 people on private asking me to play their songs which is exactly what I did (JUGERS, justlypanda and some other guy were the ones.. just ask them)
Furthermore, It was you guys that initiated trashtalking on my broadcast. I told you once or twice to go away nicely, but if you're a persistant fly that keeps insulting me, I'll obviously tell you to fuck off.
And finally, that's not mod power abuse. It is true that I'm one of the three Radio Admins, but that doesn't mean it was an abuse. An abuse would, for example, be killing a DJ's broadcast.

So to conclude my words here. I'll play what I want, when I want. I'll alyways take requests, as I have been doing in the past, but they need to be within my broadcast theme standard.

People like you, 0.20787957635, always ruin the community with such acts. I didn't like Illuminati's stream that was after my broadcast, but I certinly didn't flame the radio channel with insults. The world would be a better place if you could keep your mouth shut every once in a while, don't you think? Like Laochra said, we're volunteers. If we'd all stop broadcasting because of such disputes, you would't have a radio anymore.

I see no abuse when you have a very simple solution: turn off the radio and play whatever you want. That's what anyone would if they were listening any other radio.

Maybe this should be a motivation to other players help with the radio by playing different genres, maybe?

I never abused you. I only started talking when you were just telling almost everyone else to fuck off. You can't do that even if someone is trash talking just make a screen capture and report it other moderators. I reason why I brought this thread up is you were telling everyone one to fuck off when they were all just requesting you to change song genre. And you were saying everyone to fuck off on the radio itself.

You could simple have told who were the people listening to the songs and I would have kept quiet, but instead you kept on abusing anyone who were angry at you.

Seems like a personal problem involving aggressive behavior between players on the radio chat. Anyone that feels offended by other players have two options: use ignore function or report it to a mod. Screenshots help a lot in the second case.
