Which is the weakest of the main 7 picks?

On EU+ 10k 3v3 (Extra cities), which is the weakest nation of these 7?

Hard to say. ukr and turk are tier 1 picks, uk and germ tier 2. everything else tier 3. France italy and spain are pretty even.

Weakest to Strongest in this order:

Italy > France > Germ > UK > Ukraine > Spain > Turkey.

Do note that countries located more in the center goes first.

What makes Spain better than France? Other than the ability to rush Rome easier (and it's lower starting cost) Spain doesn't seem to have many advantages over France, who has a better income, and can challenge in Benelux and fight both Germany and UK. Could someone explain please?

Did you mean to have the > instead of < ? Because the way it's laid out it looks like you're saying Italy and France are the strongest, and Spain and Turk are the weakest, am I missing something here?

I can see why people like it better in duels. you can threathen you enemy capital take over central europe and the france+belgiumholland all at the same time in 3 or four turns only. but in 3v3s unless you are going gay after moscow you can wait to rush or bully western enemies. but on the other side ukraine is able to send 30 tanks to berlin t3 and protect kiev from rushes at the same time. if you play sm you can give hell to spain or france in Italy.

Turkey seems solid because of the shitloads of the troops but in 3v3 it's so vulnerable to enemy strategy and expansion that it simply has less possible options to be played better than Ukraine has. you have easy access to the enemy capital unlike Ukraine but you gonna have even harder time trying to recap. I might not understand Turkey to its depths and therefore it does'nt make sense to me then please enlight me.

Turkey is the sole single country which can't be trolled in 3vs3. Regardless of the picks, Southern Balkans will be the go-to zone and Turkey can outpower and outstack any country against anyone there.

Sure I got the Balkans. but what then? in case you have solid opponent these are the options i see

1. be careful with your reinforcment and expenses and rush in later stages of the game
2. try some expensive long range attack that would not work against any conscious player
3. attack western players. which would demand your balkans reinforcment and cancel the possibility to rush in the current and next reinforcment round.
4. overstretch really boldly and get rushed

Ofcourse there is miscromangment and advanced ways to get cities (tbs. latemoves. weak spots and etc) but when you are running out of money and reinforcment its effect is limited. and unless the gap in abilities between you and your opponent is really high. you have to be patient while you are useless for critical time while your opponent can push and suppurt his team.

More starting cash,its located on the side of the map,more ports give it better manueverability and strategy usage in a 3v3
Plus it can beat both UK and france in a rush,due to more starting cash.

You must be playing weak spains then..
France wins only with IF rush against any decent spain.since it can rush rome only half the times (when uk is ally)
So the other half of the times it will only get swiss lux and belgium t1,while spain tank rushes everything

I don't think we should make calls there, as it really depends on the situation. Is Italy an opponent? What was Ukraine's T1? There are a lot of things into the formula that will dictate the outcome of the game.

But against Italy or a troll pick in balkans, if you get Greece then you kinda won the game. It is the biggest port in the zone, which allows you to control the Adriatic sea. Against Italy, this is key because Italy relies on Bari/Split to communicate Balkans with Italy. As soon as you interrupt this connection, then it's just picking pierces apart. Against a troll pick, you can easily hop into any balkan country. The flexibility is enormous.

Oh and don't forget that Turkey is the country with the most reinforcements in Europe. Italy needs a solid support from a competent Ukraine as well as half of balkans to ever become a thread to Turkey.
