I rarely play those games where you start alone and just have to ally someone around you if you want to win the game, because if you dont - you will be raped by 5 allyfagging narbs who gets wings when 5 of them beat you 1 and start bullshitting stories.

Anyways, Croat wizard have solution for one of main problems of those guys who play this often.
Problem description: Loosing empty cities and countries from greedy ally.

This problem most often happens when you theoretically secured win while killing enemies with your ally. And what happens?
That retarded jerk of ally steals your empty teritory and declares war to you.
You are frustrated as hell, you are going to lose game and you start asking yourself:
'why this bad people even exist on Earth?',
'why his father didnt jerk him in nettle, not in his mothers vagina'
'why I am his victim, i just wanted to help and win'
And many other questions, but no one question can restore your land back to you.

Croat's solution
- To allow players, whose land is taken, to restore it back by any amount of units.
How should it work?
- Example: Your ally has taken your France capital Paris in turn 6.
You will notice that in turn 7 and doesnt matter how many units of your greedy ally are in Paris after he has taken it, you can restore it back with putting at least one unit in Paris that turn.
Where his units will go than?
His units will spawn near Paris, and amount of units you sent to restore will be in Paris and your ally wont be able to take it again cause it will be fulled with units by which you restored ur city back.

Short conclusion:
Allowing ally who lost land to 'attack' land he lost and restore it back. His units wont be killed, neither of his ally. They will just switch.

What will happen later with their alliance is on them, they can start fighting or naive ally can again believe to betrayer ally and keep the alliance on.

Brilliance. Support. Some additional thoughts:

If said ally takes your city in a reinforcement turn, and buys units, those recruitment orders will be cancelled.
Said ally's units should go back to the nearest city he owns, to make sure those units being transported next to the city in dispute don't mess with walls.

You're Getting a little bit too complicated

What if, Instead you can Just Confirm the conquest of the territory? Like An Option Similar to ''XXXXX Wants to Ally You (Accept) (Deny)

Instead, It could be like this:

XXXXXX Wants to Take Over CITY (COUNTRY), Would you Allow him? (Accept) (Deny)

Simple, Yet Effective and Prevents them to Take Over Any single territory you have withought your confirmation, and it also gives you an advice that your ''Ally'' Wants to Take your Stuff.

Or just leave a unit in each city

Not easy to do when you hold a bunch of size 3 cities. It's horrible when you have to throw every one of your reinforcements/income against the enemy, and you suddenly find that some ally now owns all the size 3 cities you used to own.

RA militia is a stunning $40 + $4/turn. Not the cheapest thing to occupy your cities with.

A checkbox that enables/disables allies to take your cities would be the simplest tbh... itd be very easy for amok to code

That's exactly why you need to waste all your goddamn units and money on enemies, not on protecting your cities from stupid allies.
