For Amok and Ivan,

This is the information Steam will need, Sign the digital paperwork.
*Pay the app deposit fee with any supported Steam payment method as detailed below.
Complete the paperwork with your bank and tax information as well as identity verification so that we know who we'll be doing business with.
*Now you have access to Steam works and can begin preparing your title for release. You'll need to build your store page, upload your builds, configure any Steam works features, and enter your desired pricing
(Done already luckily this game inst in early development).
We've worked hard to streamline our tools and document all the features and functionality available to you. Check out the Steam works documentation for more details.
*Before your store page or game build can go live, there is a brief review process where we run your game, look at your store page, and check that it is configured correctly and running as expected and not doing anything harmful.
This takes between 1-5 days.
*There are a couple of additional timing requirements before you can release your first few titles on Steam:
A 30-day waiting period between when you paid the app fee and when you can release your game. This gives us time to review your information and confirm that we know who we're doing business with.
*The release controls are now in your hands and you can update whenever you want.

Information you should have handy:
*Company identification

*Payment information

*Tax information

*Product Submission Fee is 100$

This is the best move for Atwar i see unless we can get enough money and manpower to work on the game which we cant so this is all that needs to be done by Amok and Ivan or anyone who buys this game and can afford to put the time into it that it needs.

It could but think of all the shitty games on steam that get through if atwar gets turned around it could be gold with the development tools steam offers

Maybe its time to ask again and make sure he actually does something this time instead of brushing it off.

There's a plethora of Grand Strategy games on Steam that get much more exposure than AtWar ever could.

Atwar isn't a grand strategy game and it doesn't have a 30-400$ price tag like paradox games, it's free to play. AtWar fills a niche who's only real competitor is warlight. It would get major exposure on steam

Maybe i misunderstood what was involved. it looked like to me this stuff was what i had to pay for. i am an average casual player the technical stuff is above my head. i dont have any problems with the game. sometimes i get a web socket issue (that i have no idea what that is) but i just come back later to make my move. i didnt mean no disrespect or harm with my response.

The solution is Pretty simple to be found:look at aw's path until now.
It slowly fell into ruins.
Since right now Aw is going to die i can tell you that i don't know if putting it on steam will be enough to save it,but i can certainly tell you that putting it on steam won't ruin the game more than it is ruined now.

It's close enough to be considered one by consumers, not to mention Paradox games have a longer lasting appeal and retention of players than AtWar could ever dream of. Niche games don't sell, neither do games that come off as cheap. Not only that, but if AtWar garnered mixed to moderately negative Steam reviews (Which, if ported looking and functioning how it currently does it most certainly would), you can expect an even worse outcome. There's simply no reason to port a cheaply-made browser game to a platform like Steam when there are better games that are similar enough to begin with.

Yet you are still here after almost 7 years, among many other players who are still with us after all these years. Oh the irony. Longer lasting appeal and retention, we got it. As for coming off as cheap, that's your subjective and irrelevant opinion.
