If you check page 8, they (Desu, columna) clarified their opinion about Ban List. Not ever Pulse which has not replied want this feature to be remove (according to desu) But I don't see why you guys argue about who made banlist possible. Let me ask: Is this thread about this?
Nice ad hominen

Mods don't force you to do anything, they just protect from ban list abuse, which is what they are supposed to do as moderators of this game.

The only thing map makers have going on for them is tunders recent mute. This seemed kind of vindictive to me and a "message" from one gang to another xD And this is proof we dont need more people with power in the game, mods are enough. This is also a valuable life lesson, for the same reason you dont fuck with cops in real life cause they can beat you up and throw you in jail whenever they want, you dont fuck with mods in an online game, cause they can mute and ban your ass whenever you brake a small rule. Its a war you can not win xD

If anyone bitches you about maps you made, it's cause they've never had to do the effort... in which case there's only one thing to do: ignore. If they persist: report. No one has ever (at least in this threat) threatened map makers to lose their whole ban list. If there hasn't been a rule before it's cause no one had ever complained like this before about mod's behaviour and asked for complete power over its ban list, quite a dangerous thing to do. Well... they are mods aren't they? It's their job to get involved in everything... that's what admins ask them to do. Well, then go ahead and ask admins what they think about giving you what you're asking. Btw, you have even less power than a mod so what do you think you're doing by bitching around? And if you critisize them for believing themselves as God, don't you try ask for being a god yourself by asking absolute power over the ban list feature. And you should get over your power greed. They CAN'T IGNORE proofs. And if they do, all you've got to do is report them... Isn't it obvious??? Omg, aren't you being a bit... delirious??

You are under the delusion that proof is enough for them or that they reall care. Mods unbanned a person from my banlist even though I had screenshot of them leaving turn 1. Here was the screenshot. http://i.imgur.com/sFdu2eP.png If they want someone unbanned, he is getting unbanned. You see? These blatant trolls are getting away with whatever they want, ruining everyones time. Mapmakers have a vested interest in keeping them out of our games whereas mods are always afk or uncaring, only acting when annoying people who bother them enough with pms enough to modify our banlists Mapmakers are the real enforcers of justice on the streets of aw, Mods are too removed from the day to day life of the community. Just stick to your real job mods, moderating chat and hacking.

That screenshot is fake so you can take it stick it back up your ass. Now the fact that I was banned by you with fake evidence, is enough evidence that mapmakers can't handle bans on their own.

Are you trying to make a point? Are you saying that everyone that has ever played a scenario supports mapmakers getting total control of banlist? I have played many scenarios, but I don't support map-makers getting any more power. And yes you do abuse banlist, you banned me for with the reason being ''gl nerfing the power of mapmakers'' or something like that. And you still haven't rebutted my argument you originally replied to.

You cant ban someone from your map if you don't have premium to make the map in the first place ...therefore, map ban list is a premium feature we bought. You can ban people from "your games for free" (dont make me quote Columna here, because he said it ), but that has nothing to do with map making. btw. pardon me if im wrong but what is the purpose and point of your argument that map makers didnt pay for something if according to you that something is free and given to everyone? See ...you claim its not their right, but then you say it is and its everyone's right and its free.

Since you... ah... "appreciated" my rhetoric last time, here. Have another dose of it. If a player does not have premium, than that person would not have any maps or scenarios to ban others from, but the fact that "my maps and scenarios" is a null set does not mean players can't ban others from it. A checkbox for banning other players from his/her maps and scenarios will still exist. Thus, the ban list from a player's maps and scenarios are not a premium feature, and therefore was not paid for along with your subscription. Cheers.

In that case, I insist, why haven't you talked to admins?? This all makes no sense. You already know they're the boss around here and they are supposed to be unbiased. If you have issues with mods, why haven't you still talked with them but you're here wasting your time crying in front of the whole community?

Yes you can ban people from your maps and scenarios even if you don't have any. It won't have any effect, but it still proves it isn't a premium feature. No, I have not said banlist is a right, that is a ridiculous lie. Nobody has a right to anything on atWar and everyone has to follow the rules set by mods and admins, which includes that banlist for scenario and map shall be used reasonably. http://prntscr.com/5ue2xi

I hope this makes it clearer for you. Offenses: Leaving early Breaking map rules Mapmakers can't ban: For personal reasons For breaking rules not listed on map Also players are innocent until proven guilty. And it doesn't matter if you think the rules are bad, the moderators are allowed to set rules. So you either follow them or quit.

Who made you the rule maker? For breaking the rules not listed on the map??? ...so i can make a rule on my map that i could ban you for anything? Again, your "list" ...is widely made bullshit, that anyone can interpret the way they want. Leaving early? ...wtf is considered leaving early? and what if i have a good reason to leave early. and wait a fuckin second ...i can ban some poor bastard because he had to suddenly leave the game without his fault, but i cant ban someone who is a rotten bastard towards me and shits over my work, because im fuckin with his enjoyment of the game. You all mad.

Ok, I am not sure what your problem is. Are you afraid of mods unbanning all the trolls? Because I have only seen couple of failed games after banlist was implemented, and mods have been moderating banlist the whole way. Yes you right, the mods are free to interpret the rules, as it is one of them. http://prntscr.com/5uei1v But in my experience the mods are moderating the banlist fairly, and the only people that ever have been unfair and abuse towards me are the fucking mapmakers. The only reason that mapmakers like Tunder and Aetius wants to have full control over banlist, is because they can't ban people they don't like for reasons like resisting $enate. So in other words, the only reason they are crying is because they want to be able to abuse banlist.

Ok, why wouldn't mapmaker unban somone for having to leave for reasons out of their control? No, you can't ban from maps for personal reasons, but you are free to ban people from your games, or gtfo of atWar since you agreed to follow the rules of atWar when you signed up. Doesn't matter if you like it or not, but one of the rules are that you can't ban for personal reasons.
