I recently bought the original halo and burnout 3, any other good xbox games?

I don't currently have one but I would say "Call of Duty Black Opps" is pretty good. (friend has it)

Well, Fallout 3 / NV or The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion / Skyrim are some of the best games on it, although online play is super limited (none).
If you want a major multiplayer game(s), I'd suggest Halo: Reac / Combat Evolved Anniv. or Battlefield: Bad company / Battlefield 3. MW3 is not all that good, it can be fun if your IQ is below 50 on a daily basis, but other than that it's pretty much shit.
Some good Arcade / Indie games are FortressCraft (GTA-like version of MineCraft still W.I.P.), DooM & Wolfenstein 3D (who doesn't love these!) and Halo: Waypoint (if you decide the other Halo's are worth it, this is a must get ( it's free)).

EDIT: Forgot about Gears of War, Rocksmith, Rage, CoD: WaW, Quake 4, Halo Wars, and C&C red alert 3. All great games.

It does have zombie mode but I don't know what Cod means.

I recently got battlefield three and it i've enjoyed it. The graphics are pretty good, the maps are huge, and i like the destructable environment. I also like that it actually has vehicles unlike cod (Unless you've got killstreaks, but that's not really the same.)

However, if you wanna totally nerd it out skyrim seems fun. One of my friends has it and I've played it for a few hours it was pretty good.

I'd take Battlefield over CoD anyday. I haven't played 3 but I own and love BF2.

Ace Combat: Assault Horizon looks fucking rad, see this review. Even if you don't like (combat) flight simulators, this will be completely different as it's been made for controllers and not joysticks.

Skyrim is obviously brilliant. Oblivion is pretty good too. Still, these are best enjoyed when played on the Microsoft Windows platform.

If the model you got has backwards compatibility with the original Xbox, get a little-known game called "Jet Set Radio" for it. Aristosseur can attest to its awesomeness.

I've heard a lot of good things about Saints Row: The Third. The previous two titles were also loved by everyone (except reviewers).

Mafia II is brilliant if you want an engrossing story. As noted here, it performed rather poorly among reviewers but most gamers praised it greatly and found it very interesting.

Red Dead Redemption is quite similar but in a western setting and it is considered one of the best games of the decade by many.

Gears of War 3. CHAIINNNNSAWWWWWW

Batman:Arkham City and its predecessor Arkham Asylum, both are amazing games and everyone loves them. Seriously awesome games.

I've heard quite a few good things about The Lord of the Rings: War in the North by fans of the series. Take this with a grain of salt due to the obvious bias, but it nevertheless looks to be a very good game--like a Dynasty Warriors without endless repetition and far more awesome action.

Finally, Mass Effect 1 and 2. Best fucking games ever. I have yet to play Mass Effect 2, I will when I get a new computer but I've gone through the first about 3 times fully and didn't hate a moment. Well, maybe except driving through the snow or doing repetitive side missions on random planets. Apart from that, it is easily one of the best games of the current generation and Mass Effect 2 has been seen by many critics as the best game of all time. HIGHLY recommended.

Should have explained so then! But you're in luck, as me and my brother happened to have had an original Xbox!

In that case, here's an extract from my other post:

This game is an absolute MUST. Seriously mate, you're missing out. Playing it with friends is even better but the single-player is very fun as well.

Also, the Splinter Cell games. I love them all and the originals are excellent. I haven't beaten the first one to this day though but it is very fun if occasionally frustrating (I always die on that level where you must run through the burning office and defuse the bomb).

Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge. I have the original and that fucking ruled. This is one of the best-reviewed Xbox games of all time as well.

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time--I didn't like Warrior Within though I did complete this one. Fighting *cough* your father is fucking hard which happens around halfway through the game but stick with it and you'll love it. One of the best games of that console generation, easily.

Crazy Taxi 3: High Roller can be sooo fun if you have mates round or someone else to play it with in general. Not so good if you're a loser Bernd though.

Fable: The Lost Chapters though I'm not sure if this version was released for the Xbox. Awesome game nevertheless, people criticise its relative linearity and ease but I found it very fun. It is true it isn't very challenging though, unless you "gamble" for XP before you go on a quest (basically, you stand in the Heroes' Guild courtyard and proclaim you'll kill a massive monster buck-naked, etcetera).

Don't get Battlefront or Battlefront II. It's an overrated piece of shit in my opinion.

Medal of Honor: Frontline was so rad. Completely unrealistic, with insane multiplayer, I found it a really awesome game. Sure, the highpoint is the very beginning (D-Day landings) but it doesn't stop being fun as fuck throughout. The multiplayer is also awesome.

Need for Speed Underground 2 and Most Wanted are really awesome. This series has stagnated in recent years but these were its high points and are absolutely awesome overall. You really should get these, I love these games.

I've only played 007: From Russia with Love on a PS2 round a friend's but it was really cool on that and I think you would like it too. Certainly had some amazing action sequences although I didn't like the driving sections much.

Vietcong was an excellent shooter game which had elements of a tactical shooter. The Rainbox Six games were also brilliant of course, but I'm trying to draw attention to lesser-known titles here as well.

Reviewers seem to hate it but most people I know absolutely adore Conflict: Desert Storm II.

And that's it for now; if I think of more I'll let you know! :3

EDIT: Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex. Wasn't quite as good as the PS1 games (especially Warped, which was awesome) but still an excellent platformer game.

You did have Fable, you pirated it and then I went and pirated it myself on PC. Shit was so cash. But it's also an XBOX game so that's okay. :3

And yes, Crash Bandicoot just didn't seem as fun as the PS1 games. Such cases. But not too bad either.
