[CLOSED - Duplicate] Unable to Start New Game in Map Editor

Bug Report

Expected behavior: Start a new game created by cloning an existing map in the Map Editor.

Actual behavior: When I start a new game created by cloning an existing map in the Map Editor and prompted to select a home country, nothing happens.

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

Step 1: Clone a Map

1. From the main Games screen select <Maps>
2. Select <Maps>
3. Select <World Maps>. I am using World Maps for this test as I know it is a working map.
4. Select <Clone>
5. Make sure all of the elements are selected including Country Borders, Background, Countries and Cities and Units.
6. Select <Continue>. This opens the map editor.
7. Select <Map Options> from the menu bar.
8. Select <Publish Map>. Make sure that the checkbox <Can be used without scenario> is selected.
9. Select <Submit>
10. Select the <Save> button in the menu bar.
11. Exit the editor.

Step 2: Start a new game using a cloned map
================
1. Again from the main Games screen select <Maps>
2. Select <Created by Me> from the <Featured> drop down.
3. Select the game I just created.
4. Select <Start New Game>
5. I selected <Casual Game> but I don't think it matters wether you pick <Quick Game> or <Casual Game>.
6. Select <Continue>.
7. I left all of the game default values as listed.
8. For testing purposes I had a friend log in as a player.
9. Select <Start New Game>

Once the game opens I am prompted to select a home country. When I do so nothing happens. The same think for my friend. The country selected on the map is not selected. As far as I can tell there is no way to select a country or proceed with the game. As mentioned above, no error is generated (not that I can see anyway). Is this an error with the map editor or am I (not) doing something wrong?

As an fyi, and as pointed out by Clovis1122, if the <Loop Map Horizontally> button is deselected in the Map Editor, a starting country can be selected and a game can be started...
