I'm just making this public post for all map makers out there because this is a HUGE development.
I pm'ed clovis privately to ask about buildings and whether or not their stats would be fixed but I discovered that the following things had been fixed since then:

Buildings - Buildings now work in map editor and apply buffs to units in maps with no bugs that I've discovered

Unit stat limitation - The stat limitations for units have finally been changed. The caps for all units have been greatly increased meaning map makers no longer have to rely on unit: other to create units without limitations which means that more strategies can be integrated into maps since the base game units are now more manipulative
The following stats seems to be the new cap for units in the map editor:

I simply made this public for all map editors out there so they can now make necessary changes/updates to their maps. Thank you very much to Dave & Clovis

After testing I realized it created an error with some insanely high stats, I updated the second picture with a non-glitched one

Great news! The only thing that is really needed is being able to edit Silverlight maps in html. They can then finally remove silverlight.

You still cant select a whole border like you could previously to make no go zone copies.

We implemented it this weekend, glad you guys love the changes!

Worth noting that buildings cannot be moved, not even with Blitz so it is now possible to make "capitals" or "forts" units without the cumbersomeness of having to make it a Sea unit locked in-land.

Update: It seems it is possible to clone a silverlight map onto html5. If you allow the silverlight map to be cloned you can then create an html5 copy of it.

I've already known about this as well but I never cared for it because there was literally no difference between html5 and silverlight to create a need to clone it over but with buildings people might be interested in it so I decided to make this apparent to people who don't know much about the editor
