Ive been playing this game for some time and had a few duels. but my Q is if u had a duel against a player in a game and won 500 sp. but then u lost in the game against another player do u lose the sp u earned.

Yes you can lose SP with Duels.
If you lose a regular game, you always get half of the SP. But when you accept a duel, and lose it, you will also lose some SP. The total of the won or lost SP can be seen on your profile at 'Duel SP'. You currently have +86SP from duels. This can also be a negative number (I have -7 for example)

i think he meant something else.
that if ur in a game and u made a duel with a player, and you won the duel (ur opponent lost), in the same game u lost to a different player(which u didnt have a duel with), do you lose some of the duel sp earned ?

Oh I assumed it was just who could survive longest in the game, so if one person loses before the other that's when the sp goes through. that would make more sense, but oh well I guess not.
