Big merge?

According to the Laochra's post about current CW scene (http://hr.atwar-game.com/forum/topic.php?topic_id=32044), I have a proposal about how we can try keeping CW scene active or even, if everything goes well, improving it's activity.
It's about merging these 'small' number of active players from all CWing coalitions + oldfags who are still being around into 2 coalitions, doesn't matter which ones. The name of these 2 coalitions doesn't matter because our main target is not 'I wanna be in Mortal Kombat', but keeping our holy CWs on life. We can even make up the new 2 coalitions, for example 'Team Alpha' and 'Team Beta' in which we would organise players with trying to keep the equivalence. By keeping the equivalence I mean trying to keep the strenght, number and activity of Alpha and Beta coalition approximately same.
Here's the example how it shall be organised:
If you agree, I will take care to organise players in these 2 teams and, in agreement with Admin(s), accomplish the forming coalitions and transiting the players as soon as possible.
If you support the idea, if you have any more detailed suggestions or critics, please post them in comments.

PS. I know this won't be a small step for us as community (the CWing one), but I would take all the job on myself about organising. I really need your opinions, are we brave enough for this? And is this good enough to make the things better
In the very least if this fails we should consolidate the Martians who spread to the wind to atleast have 1 more active clan.

Whatever happens, dont exclude other clans that arent stacked clans from cwing...this will kill Casual Ties dead. We are still trying to cw ya know.

Very good idea but it would kill Immortals too. Last time we tried to merge,some people were motivated and some not,some stayed some came.Most of those who came weren't actually interested but came to help a friend.I guess we are motivated by each other and that's why we are not a good idea for merge. Good luck though if you proceed with this.

We may create four clns based on the four major cultures in AW, and leaders or members of each cln can elect to join either one: Alert: No intention of stereotype 1. Funny & Adventurous Representative: EC 2. Small Circle Elitism Representative: Aristokrats 3. Team Oriented Comrades Representative: Illyria 4. Slavic Dictatorship Representative: MK The proposed merge is good. But members must form bonding in the new clns, and the prerequisite is a shared culture. Otherwise the merge will fail.

Umm, what about Cosa Nostra which has got 30+ players at it's peak and everyone played. At that time I was a member of it and we even had a lower rank squad for CWing, or we were mixing high and lower ranks, or we were mixing only the high ranks. It succeeded. What about evoL merge with Shadow Aces when me, DSL, Yasotay, Emperor Lelouch, Ian and Soldier were CWing constatnly as ranks 6&7, including the CWs who were played by higher rank evoL squad (MOU, Paolo, W4r, deviL, Barb, Nero, El Crey, Domestikos, Critical, Madara...) You cannot just take an example of The Bermuda triangle and say that merging or bigger members number is bad and only bad. It's not a proper argument.
Seems like I have to repeat for the 10th time to some ppl, 2 teams is just.... AN EXAMPLE and I would support it if community decides 3,4,5,6, doesn't matter.
Umm, okay, than enjoy this season while few 'oldfags' from Illy and MK are preparing for inactivity, while SA are waiting 10 days to get 3 online members at same moment, while CN and SM are already being inactive and while 2 rest clans are really competing for something. That's a nice view  PS. Hope you have some nice idea to make one happy day for atwar

Now you gotta convince 50 of the most stubborn aw players and who think themselves little gods to do this. No biggie. Support p.s. An issue would be after the merge, inactivity of a/some certain player/s. I think someone (Croat, some1 else or a little council) should monitor this situation and ballance the clans constantly. (Unbiased ballacing!)

Well I didn't want to write a huge essay on why I thought it was a bad idea so I just used one example, but we can talk about how the recent rebirths of Cosa, VS, evoL, elite comrades... and how well they done. With proper leadership an idea like this can work as it has before but I'm sorry to tell you that this type of leadership no longer exists on atwar, most players are selfish, ignorant and simply don't care. I've previously stated that I wasn't going to even play this season so it's amazing I managed to play a few games at all really... me and Cthulhu just wanted to play some games every once and awhile... but sadly my interest in this game really hit an all low, as much as I'd love to do shit that helps ive actually been doing a whole lot these last few years for atwar but unlike others im not some kind of a vocal attention seeker, most of you wont even realize what I did for this game but its okay because i done it for the greater good of the community and didnt need praise... but its clear to me now how undeserving atwar community is. I don't currently have a nice idea to make happy day for atwar as I don't give a shit anymore, all my friends are gone or inactive, why should i help the general community when people like you have only been hostile towards me even though I don't know who you are. Atwar will not die, but it will never be like it was.

BT was just an overhyped clan. It was never meant to be active to begin with. It was just a clan for players to retire in. But yeah you're right, this idea too is obviously too overhyped. It's only good on paper, not gonna happen in reality.

I support the idea, although in this form, is highly unlikely to happen for reasons already stated. I can understand clash of characters, people not getting along, trouble with leadership and etc. But, im pretty sure that what laochra had in mind, and i agree, is for people to stop being spread around in semi inactive clans who cant cw consistently. Having a big ego/ clan loyalty and stuff is perfectly understandable, when you play a normal highly populated game, or in case of aw, when your clan is able to pull its weight (in terms of cw). At the moment only Illyria can do that and Aristocrats, with 174 and 100 cws, respectively. The rest cant and thats a fact. What is glorious about being in a clan that cant cw. I dont get it, someone explain to me please. What do you get out of being a leader in a dead clan anyway. What do you get out of playing random 3v3's with plebs everyday and dont get to cw. i just dont get it. When illy was dead and lao wanted to cw, he went to SM and it worked out fine. And thats what all competitive players should do imo. Find a clan that they like the people in it and migrate there, instead of being spread out in useless clans. If your ego is so big that you want to stay in a dead clan because you like being the top dog, then great, accept you are a loser with psychological problems and go play another game.

My issue is more about my worth personally. I busted my ass for this community, I worked hard in Stalins Martians, I helped train people in Shadow Aces and, EvoL, giving away Stalin expansions strategies and play style. Now though those that are left shun me away. Even though I can be one of the most loyal people on this game (was a Martian for 3 years, then another eight months last year). I can be a drama queen because I have a form of social anxiety that makes me constently worry about others opinion. It drives me nuts and makes me feel like everyone is turning on me. I'd like nothing more then to contribute to an active coalition, but if I'm just going to sit on the roster and have 0 impact I might as well be dead. I tried helping crow of darkness out,building a new competitive clan, but they just are not serious enough. So I geuss this is my rant.

Some want CWs Some want more CWs Some want things stay as they are Some want to merge clans Some want not to merge clans Some want their clans to play CWs often Some want their clans to play CWs rarely Some want their clans not to be active at all Some want to die on the old glory of their clans Some want to make new glory for the clans Some want to comment the CW scene without even having a clan Some want not to comment the CW scene, but being an active members And all these people from above, including me, are fucking retardzzz.... Bangz, once again I give up from this idea. PS. If some lads of the 'oldfags', who are the only understandible people on this game, want to make some merges between several clans, we can make a deal about something without these new jerks and play as in good old times. lol the only understandable? You forgot many exceptions  Also, you've got a point, if old cw players are so eager to solve it this way, why not letting them start the trend and make it progress? I'm quite positive that most of them won't even move a finger

first of all, if we only merged into 4 highly active clans (instead of 2) you'd merge with 2 more clans, of your choice, thus you could keep your identity and make a new one plus get to clanwar more, train more, interact more, talk more etc. etc. secondly, people have identites, not clans.

Well unfortunately this is a video game and not real life, so anything put into place will only be accountable by each and every persons will to play, which is why shit like this or tournaments never work out properly lol. You can try to stimulate things and maybe attempt stuff, but the only thing you can really do is let it run its course and see what happens.
