I feel it would be great to add a live-stream page on the website! Not only would it encourage the creation of streams that help advertise the game, but it would also help bond the community. Examples: MineCraft = http://www.planetminecraft.com/livetv League Of Legends = http://competitive.eune.leagueoflegends.com/streamers Streamers should be able to request permission to have their stream added onto the page. Similar to the above links.

It won't work I'm afraid. Most of games on streams are games with lot of action. Something is happening all the time, explosion here, headshot there, monster up there and whatever this is over here. I doubt many people would sit through afterwind stream. This game doesn't offer to much visual effects. It's a turn based strategy, and you have to really like this game to watch it. If you like it enough to watch it, you are probably already playing it. Stream of people playing chess without explosions, fireballs or helicopters wouldn't work too.

I agree with Homero in the sens that AW isn't a game that offers much visual effects. Also, people can already spectate games which is basically the same thing as what you're proposing. However, having it on the homepage WITH COMMENTARY would be excellent. I think VRIL agreed to do this eventually when he has time and a few others too. Obviously, this wouldn't occur every day because not everyone has the time to do it. But if we get let's say 5 commentators that are fairly active, we can probably have 1 or 2 games a day streaming on the homepage with commentary. I support this.

I would be up for commenting on some games (no not UN) but don't really know how popular would be

Stream with commentary would need new spectator system, or special function for a player (like mod or admin) that would give this player exclusive access to diferent spectator system. Current spectator won't let you see what units are on the map, can't see stealth units. You can't check income of players, can't analyze battles. If that would be implemented to a game the stream would obviously a delay up to 12 minutes in quick games. Doubt commenting on casual games would be entertaining enough.

Lol, just imagine the commentary for some UN games. turn 11:"No battles this turn" turn 12:"No battles this turn" turn 13:"AU finally took all his oil fields" turn 14:"No battles this turn" turn 15:"Russia rogue!!!" But seriously I imagine that streaming commentrary on some live games would be pretty fun.
