In the new version, the statistical overview feature where you scroll over a battle, city, or army and see a general overview of the attack/defense will be gone. It has been said that due to strategies not being accounted for that this feature should be lost. I say it provides a great overview and without it, it would make the game more challenging then it has to be. I've never had a problem with it and don't see how losing it will improve the game.

Support I only use it when I am playing with Iron Fist (IF) because I find battles are more even with this strategy (specially in Ancient... whoops my trick!!!)

Beside IF I find it useless...

I find it really handy when using no strategy.. I mean, that shud be self-explanatory, but yea: I think it'd be nice to have evens if it accounts for strategy or not

I think the issue that amok/ivan have is that it is not accurate, but too me (and I think most people) that's okay. First it keeps the start of the other guy hidden and second, it provides a basic idea of how the battle can go which still adds the uncertainty in very important battles. I'm interested to know the opinion of the person who voted no.

Was probably Amok But yeah, we're not really players, so if you guys are adamant that att/def numbers are useful, we'll bring them back.

They are very useful, please bring them back, even if the stats don't count the strategy like we have now.

Please bring them back Ivan <3 they are very useful and none of us mind that they are not "accurate" because it hides the strategy of both players but also provides an overview of how the battle may go without both people having to constantly multiple their attacks by the total number of units they have to find out just the attack of their own troops.

Don't bring them back, but if you do: add HP to the statics.
Its painful to watch people make their decisions based on information that is wrong, in custom maps is common for people to suicide their stacks because they think that is a good idea to attack special units with high HP.

How would it looks like?

A) Only 1 HP, and it is the HP combined of all the units.
B) Various HP depending of the type of unit, and that HP is the HP combined of all the units that are equal.
C) B) but instead the HP of a single unit.

If this is added to html5, to add on what tunder said, add hp and make sure strat and general effects are accounted for.

are you sure you would want strats included? It takes away anything hidden then if it is accounted for

It could aswell be that you( not you exactly) are understimating your opponent, which all of us are prone to, so it's likely you will not send enough units into the city you're attacking, which is what these statistics help you counteract.

Nice, cuz cw turns would be 10-11 mins cuz all pro players would calculate attack and deff of all his and his enemy's stacks.....

Maybe an HP ratio would be a good solution. For instance with no strategy selected, two infantry would have the same attack as one tank but the infantry's HP ratio would show up as higher in the tooltip. Maybe too late for this idea.
